The Flask Speakeasy Shanghai is paired with The Press, a street-facing sandwich shop. The Press is quite a design itself — it features unpainted concrete walls with a pink drop-ceiling section, an orange counter and wood seating for natural tone accents. To the left of the counter, a simple vintage Coke machine adds more than just a bit of character. It’s an entry way into a completely different world. At night, guests can enter Flask Speakeasy through the slim door of the Coca-Cola machine....

Visitors enter the Guangdong Musuem through a stone-paved depression on its central lawn. Inside, the design is slightly more conservative than its outer skin, filled with light from a large central skylight and styled in a contemporary fashion. Hermes has revealed a new limited edition timepiece for luxury watch collectors, the Hermes Carre H Watch. The new Carre H was designed by architect Marc Berthier, who gave this Hermes watch a plain, simple and bold appearance. It features a curved titanium case, gunmetal in color, and a geometric etched display bearing the Hermes logo. Its back side has a clear window to see the watch’s inner movement, in this case provided by Sowind/Girard-Perregaux and given a power reserve of 44 hours....
